Subic
The dearest cousin of my wife will soon tie the knot in 10-10-10, but no I am not covering their wedding because I want to experience being a guest for once in my life and at least be included in the photos. I offered to shoot their pre nup though, we planned for it 3 days before and good thing we were able to find a decent hotel in Subic.
While my wife enjoyed the "korean spa-adventure" in the hotel, there we went and explored the hidden falls in Subic. Bernard, another cousin of ours was my assistant for the whole trip.
It was a challenge going to this site, we trekked for almost 2 hours in Pamulaklakin Trail until I found this really nice stream and finally was able to capture the water with a foamy effect. Kudos to this young couple for they managed to not move for 8 seconds on the very steep rocks.
On the second day, we hit El Kabayo Falls, it is not as steep as the trail in Pamulaklakin and this time my wife joined us for a more serious photo shoot. It was a great experience and since 10-10-10 is still far, we are thinking of one more pre-nup photo shoot but in a more conducive and hassle free site.

I was not able to visit Shirleen in the hospital though I made sure to shoot their family photo with the new member on board. I love this photo for the smiles of the 2 girls is very natural and their eyes express the happiness and love to their baby brother.
Shawne just turned 1 month old. It just makes me feel so heavenly every time I photograph babies, seems like I am in front of an Angel.
A mother's touch and love can't be compared to anything else, it's a priceless gift any child could ever have...
A good friend of mine, referred me to our batch mate, Rosmina. Truly it is that time flies, the girl I used to see back in high school is now blessed with a beautiful family - Dennis, being the King of their castle, 4 lovely boys and their one and only princess, DENISE.
I arrived at the venue as early as 2PM to take advantage of the sunlight to capture Denise' afternoon glow before the party.
I could only imagine the feeling of Dennis and Rosmina seeing their baby step into a new chapter of her life. Sounds cliche' but yes.. The Baby is now officially a Lady.
Denise is very cheerful and sweet lady, I love taking her photos and this photo with her friends is my favorite. You can see how these young people enjoy their first taste of being adults.
Oh and these feet that used to be tiny and once enjoyed their Mothers' humming is now on the dance floor swinging up to 80's music.
It was tiring day yet a fulfilling one for me. Happy 18th Birthday to you Denise!
